Job Description The opportunity Delaware North Travel is looking for a full-time Maintenance Worker to join our team at Austin Bergstrom Airport in Austin, Texas. As a Maintenance Worker, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance duties throughout the property. What will you do? Paint, hang, and repair drywall as needed and install shelves, hooks, and closet rods Change light bulbs, replace fixtures, open clogged drains, and repair leaks Perform lawn maintenance including mowing and removing weeds Ensure tools and equipment are in working order and keep the maintenance room in neat condition Assist with loading or unloading trucks of maintenance parts and supplies Be prepared to be on call and have an occasional overnight shift Operate a motor vehicle when necessary More about you Minimum of 1 year of previous experience in general maintenance and repair for commercial facility required Previous experience with heavy or agricultural machinery preferred HVAC experience, not required but helpful in this role Must have a driver’s license Physical requirements Frequent pushing, pulling, squatting, and kneeling Ability to lift up to 70 pounds Standing and walking 100% of the time Must be able to work outside in all types of weather Shift details On call Holidays Weekends Evenings as needed Who we are Serving more than 11 million passengers each year, Austin-Bergstrom International Airport is one of the fastest-growing airports in the United States.
