Job Description:
Job Description We are partnered with a Top 25 General
Contractor that is delivering some of the nation’s largest
hyperscale and colocation data center projects. Their Austin office
is expanding, and they are seeking an experienced MEP Manager to
lead technical oversight of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and
fire protection systems. This is a chance to join a builder with a
strong regional pipeline, proven national reach, and a reputation
for delivering complex mission-critical projects to the highest
standards. Key Responsibilities Direct all MEP design coordination,
submittals, and shop drawing reviews Oversee procurement and
budgets for MEP subcontractor scopes Drive BIM coordination,
resolving clashes between design and field teams Ensure
installation quality, code compliance, and readiness for
commissioning Partner with superintendents and project managers to
align budgets, schedules, and logistics Provide technical
leadership, identifying solutions to design and constructability
challenges Maintain safety, QA/QC, and owner requirements across
all MEP systems Qualifications 8 years of experience in MEP
management, project engineering, or similar roles Strong background
in mission-critical, data center, or technically complex
construction projects Deep technical knowledge of mechanical and
electrical systems, codes, and best practices Proven track record
of managing budgets, subcontractor performance, and schedule
delivery Skilled communicator with the ability to coordinate across
owners, design partners, and trade contractors Based in Austin or
open to relocation/travel within the region What’s on Offer
