Riverview Junior High and High School is seeking candidates for
Instructional Faciltiator for the 26-27 school year. RIVERVIEW
SCHOOL DISTRICT Instructional Facilitator Job Title: Instructional
Facilitator Department: Instruction Reports to: Building Principal
Classification: Exempt Summary The instructional facilitator is
responsible for providing instructional assistance to teachers and
paraprofessionals as well as direct instruction to targeted
students. The instructional facilitator will work with staff to
provide support for the implementation of research-based
instructional strategies. To perform this job successfully, an
individual must be able to perform each essential duty

Responsibilities Demonstrate knowledge of subject matter
appropriate. In close collaboration with the principal, lead and
facilitate building-level professional development focused on
student learning; communicate on professional development
activities. Provide mentoring support to new teachers. Use a
coaching cycle model that includes planning for instruction,
modeling lessons, side by side teaching and feedback on
instructional strategies. Facilitate training and coaching of
building staff for district instructional initiatives. Assist in
facilitating the school’s early intervention services to support
students in receiving targeted academic support. Facilitate the
analysis of student performance data. Prepare and maintain
appropriate individual student records, reports, and materials.
Communicate in a manner that is effective and appropriate.
Participate in building, grade level, and subject area committees.
Participate in professional development activities. Report
suspected abuse, neglect, discrimination and harassments as
directed by Board of Education policy. Provide and accept
constructive criticism for improvement of teaching and learning.
Maintain a cooperative working relationship co-workers to support
the mission of the school district. Maintain professional
relationships with students in order to effectively support them as
learners. Prepare students for local and state assessments. Respond
to administrative requests in a timely manner. Comply with all
Riverview School Board of Education policies. Perform other duties
as assigned by the principal. Supervisory Duties Supervises
students Qualifications Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Valid
Arkansas Teacher Certification Education and Experience Minimum of
a Bachelor’s Degree Skills and Abilities Language Read, analyze and
interpret professional journals, board policy, administrative
procedures and forms and governmental regulations and guidance
written in English; complete forms, write reports and engage in
written correspondence with parents; present information
effectively and respond to questions; and write clear and complete
lesson plans. Computation Have the ability to work with
mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference
and apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and
proportions to practical situations. Reasoning Solve a variety of
problems in many different situations and interpret instructions
presented in written, oral, diagram or schedule form; apply
knowledge of current educational theory and instructional
techniques while presenting subject matter to students. Technology
Perform basic computer functions such as word processing and
internet use; use district software for recording grades and
finding student information; and utilize smart boards, projectors
and other instructional technology provided by the district.
Physical Demands An individual who holds this position must have
the ability to speak and hear in an environment where numerous
conversations and activities may be taking place simultaneously,
move around the classroom, read handwritten or printed material.
Sometimes the individual will be required to work outdoors for
short periods of time to perform such tasks as loading and
unloading students from district transportation and supervising
students. Interpersonal Skills Maintain effective working
relationships with students, co-workers, administrators and members
of the community. Attendance Regular and consistent attendance is
