Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior VDC/BIM Technician located in Austin, TX. The Senior VDC/BIM Technician will be responsible for creating and managing Building Information Models (BIM) for various projects. Day-to-day tasks will include creating construction drawings, coordinating with Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) elements, and ensuring the structural integrity of building services. The technician will work closely with project teams to deliver accurate and efficient models and drawings aligned with the project’s goals and timelines. Qualifications Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, specifically Electrical design and modeling Experience with Electrical coordination Ability to create detailed Construction Drawings Knowledge of Building Services Familiarity with Electrical Engineering principles Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively within a team Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred Previous experience in the construction industry is a plus
