Job Description Job Description Job Title: Assembler Job Description We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our assembly team, working on the construction of small parts for elevator doors and walls. This role involves assembling and packing various mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical components. Candidates with basic assembly experience or mechanical inclination are preferred. Additionally, candidates may be involved in kitting and packing operations, making this an excellent entry-level opportunity. Responsibilities Assemble and pack a wide variety of mechanical, electrical, electromechanical, and fabricated elevator components. Perform operations necessary to assemble, align, and pack elevator subassemblies and assemblies within allocated times while maintaining quality specifications. Work from manufacturing information, SAP, COE sheets, engineering drawings, and both written and oral instructions. Package and identify completed assemblies for shipment. Maintain all required records and documents. Essential Skills Ability to use hand tools and power tools. Basic blueprint reading skills. Mechanical inclination. Picking and packing experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications Kitting experience. Experience working with assembly lines. Understanding of work instructions and inspection processes. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Work Environment The work environment is fairly clean with moderate noise levels. Candidates are required to wear steel-toed boots, long pants, and safety glasses while on the shop floor. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 5 am to 1:30 pm. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of York, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
