Onsite Dermatology Physician will provide Board Certified/Board
Eligible Dermatology Physician Services on site at the Central
Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System. This position requires
exceptional medical expertise, proficiency, and commitment to
delivering high-quality care to veterans in accordance with
established standards and guidelines. The physician will work
within the VA's business hours and clinic schedule to fulfill the
healthcare needs of beneficiaries.--- LocationCentral Arkansas

72205ResponsibilitiesClinical Expertise: Provide comprehensive and
high-quality dermatology services to beneficiaries of the Central
Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System. Perform medical examinations,
assessments, diagnoses, and treatments, while maintaining the
highest standards of patient care.Licensing and Certification:
Possess a current and unrestricted medical license to practice
medicine in any U.S. state, territory, or Commonwealth and the
District of Columbia. Maintain Board Certification/Eligibility from
the American Board of Dermatology and current Basic Life Support
(BLS) or equivalent certification.Credentialing and Privileging:
Comply with VHA Directive 1100.20 and VHA Directive 1100.21 for
credentialing and privileging processes. Ensure all proposed
physician(s) possess the necessary credentials for granting
privileges. Obtain approval from the Facility Medical Executive
Board and Medical Center Director before providing
services.Technical Proficiency: Demonstrate technical proficiency
in delivering the required services, including excellent English
language skills (speaking, understanding, reading, writing).
Maintain up-to-date documentation of competency, skills,
certifications, and licenses.Personnel Substitutions: Notify the
Contracting Office Representative (COR) of any planned or emergency
personnel substitutions. Substitutes must meet comparable
qualifications. Permanent substitutions require approval from the
CO and COR, with notification provided at least 30 days in
advance.Coverage and Scheduling: Provide coverage during physician
absences due to sick leave, personal leave, vacations, etc. Ensure
coverage is provided within 2 hours of notification and promptly
inform the COR. Adhere to VA business hours and clinic
schedules.Standards of Care: Deliver dermatology services that meet
or exceed recognized standards set by The Joint Commission (TJC),
VA guidelines, and national standards.Qualifications
