Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM Contract Type: Travel Assignment Duration:
13 Weeks (with potential for extension) Job Summary: Seeking an
experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in the
Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF) at Central Texas
Rehabilitation Hospital in Austin, Texas. The ideal candidate will
provide comprehensive nursing care to patients recovering from
illness, injury, or surgery, demonstrate strong clinical judgment,
and thrive in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.
Responsibilities: Deliver safe, effective nursing care to patients
in the rehabilitation setting Monitor patient progress and provide
support for recovery goals Administer medications and treatments as
prescribed Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and
interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans
Educate patients and families on rehabilitation processes,
discharge planning, and home care instructions Document patient
care accurately and ensure compliance with facility standards
Promote a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff
Requirements: Active RN license in Texas or compact state Minimum 2
years of recent rehabilitation or acute care nursing experience
Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred) Strong communication and
critical thinking skills Ability to work independently and as part
of a multidisciplinary team Completion of all onboarding and
compliance requirements
