Opportunity at Our Organization The Hospitalist role at our
facility involves delivering inpatient care within a closed ICU
environment, following a traditional 7-on, 7-off day shift pattern.
This position entails managing up to 22 patient interactions per
shift, with no procedural duties required, primarily utilizing
Meditech EMR for documentation. Additionally, a robust benefits
package, professional liability insurance, and a clinician wellness
program are provided. We are excited to announce a new day shift
hospitalist position at our facility in Austin, Texas. This
opportunity is part of a well-established collaboration between our
organization and a healthcare provider, featuring a team of
internal medicine hospitalists and nocturnists who are all based in
Austin. Our physicians adhere to a traditional 7-on, 7-off work
schedule. Our facility has a total of 114 beds, with the
hospitalist program managing 50 of those. Currently, we have three
daytime providers (7 AM - 7 PM) and one nocturnist (7 PM - 7 AM).
The ICU is closed, and each day shift clinician averages 20-22
patient encounters, with a maximum of 10 admissions overnight.
Clinicians are not required to perform procedures in this role;
they only need to respond to codes for their patients, allowing
them to support the codes team effectively. All locations utilize
