Clinical Coordinator plays a vital role in managing daily
operations and resources within their designated area. This
position serves as a bridge between nursing and ancillary
departments to ensure seamless patient care, optimal outcomes, high
patient satisfaction, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to
regulations. Oversees staff scheduling, educational initiatives,
and performance assessments. Identifies and addresses challenges
impacting clinical service delivery. Conducts quality assurance
studies and aids in the execution of QA/QI initiatives. Acts as a
resource for staff and external parties regarding patient care,
patient flow, and clinical standards, policies, and procedures.
Ensures departmental compliance with relevant regulations,
including accreditation and legal standards. Participates in
on-call duties as scheduled, sharing responsibilities with other
Clinical Coordinators. Qualifications: Associate's Degree in
Nursing, required Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, preferred Current
KY RN state licensure or compact licensure, required
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS; to be obtained within 7 days of
hire Handle with Care certification within 30 days of hire National
Certification in specialty area preferred or to be obtained within
