JOB OVERVIEW Job Title: Nocturnist Job Type: Permanent (Full-Time) Location: Mountain Home, AR Service Setting: Inpatient/Hospitalist Program Clinical Shift Schedule: 7 on / 7 off (night shifts) ICU: Open ICU with 24/7 Virtual ICU Coverage Team Size: 9 Physicians, 4 Advanced Practice Providers, 2 Scribes FACILITY INFORMATION ICU: Open model with virtual ICU support Collaboration: Strong working relationship with specialists and Emergency Medicine physicians PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: Yes COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Salary: Competitive, based on experience and schedule Bonuses: - Commencement Bonus - Eligible for Arkansas Community Match Program Relocation: Expense reimbursement offered Education Stipend: Available if applicable Insurance: - Professional Liability Insurance - Health, Dental, Vision, Disability, and Life Insurance Retirement Plan: Included Paid Time Off (PTO): Included Continuing Medical Education (CME): Allowance included JOB REQUIREMENTS Licenses: Arkansas medical license (or eligibility to obtain) Certifications: Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine with hospitalist experience Experience: Prior nocturnist or hospitalist experience preferred Other Qualifications: - Strong communication and teamwork abilities - Comfort managing patients in an open ICU setting DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide inpatient nocturnal hospitalist coverage Manage patient admissions, cross-cover issues, and collaborate with on-call specialists Work closely with APPs and scribes during night shifts Ensure continuity of care and accurate documentation Participate in quality improvement and hospitalist team initiatives
