Job Description:

Baptist Health, a leader in community health services based in Little Rock, AR, is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant or Limited License X-Ray Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will assist in providing excellent patient care while also performing basic diagnostic radiographic procedures under the supervision of a licensed practitioner. This dual-capacity position requires a compassionate approach to patient interactions and a commitment to maintaining high medical standards and protocols. Administer and document patient care including vitals, medical history, and preliminary examinations. Perform basic radiologic tests and provide reports to physicians. Ensure compliance with health care regulations and safety standards. Manage patient records and documentation with accuracy and confidentiality. Provide patient education and follow-up instructions as prescribed. Assist healthcare professionals during examinations and treatments. Proficiency in performing basic radiographic procedures. Ability to handle and process X-ray equipment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Efficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems. Capability to perform standard clinical procedures for medical assistance. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) from the American Association of Medical Assistants or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) from the American Medical Technologists. Limited Scope X-Ray Technician license as required by the state.
