Job Description Adelphi is seeking a part-time Child
Psychiatrist to provide onsite care in Denton County, Texas. The
ideal candidate will evaluate and treat children and adolescents
with intellectual and developmental disabilities, working as part
of a multidisciplinary team to deliver compassionate, specialized

hours per week (flexible between 8:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m.) Requirements:
Medical Doctor (M.D. or D.O.) with an active, unrestricted Texas
medical license Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
(Child & Adolescent preferred) Valid DEA registration National
Provider Identifier (NPI) Current CPR/BLS certification
(AHA-approved) Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR)
Completion of all required agency and facility-specific training
Responsibilities Diagnose and treat psychiatric disorders in
children with intellectual disabilities. Conduct psychiatric
assessments and develop evidence-based treatment plans. Justify and
manage psychotropic medications. Accurately document clinical
encounters using an electronic health record (EHR) system.
Collaborate with clinical and support staff to ensure high-quality
care. Communicate clearly with multidisciplinary teams and
families. Work independently with minimal supervision.
