Job Description:
Job Description This is a part-time hybrid role for a Registered
Dietitian, located in the Austin/Round Rock, Texas area, with some
work from home flexibility (50%). This role is for long-term care
and skilled nursing. The Registered Dietitian will be responsible
for: Providing expert guidance on residents’ nutritional care.
Collaborate closely with physicians, occupational and speech
therapists, nursing staff, and the nutrition services team. Serve
as an essential member of the interdisciplinary care team (IDT).
Perform comprehensive nutrition assessments for residents. Monitor
and document nutritional care for residents with wounds, renal
conditions, weight concerns, and those who receive enteral
nutrition support. Lead and participate in Quality Assurance audits
to ensure high standards of care. Conduct nutrition-focused
physical assessments to support individualized care planning -
nutritional documentation. Qualifications Expertise in Dietetics
and Medical Nutrition Therapy Skills in Nutritional Counseling and
Weight Management Strong knowledge of general Nutrition Excellent
interpersonal, communication, and technological skills Ability to
work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Registered Dietitian (RD) credential or Eligible to sit for RD Exam
(RD2B). Must hold RD credential through CDR and be licensed in the
State of Texas. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Dietetics,
Nutrition, or related field Experience in a clinical setting is
