Opportunity Snapshot Location: Cleveland, Mississippi Contract Type: Emergency Medicine Locum Tenens Start Date: ASAP – Ongoing Schedule: Minimum 4 shifts per month Shift Options: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM EMR: MedHost Facility Overview Community hospital emergency department ~10,150 annual visits ~2 patients per hour 10 ED beds Fast Track No trauma designation This is a focused, efficient ED environment with predictable flow and strong support systems. Practice Environment Physician-led coverage model Solo physician coverage Fast Track support for lower acuity patients Scribe coverage daily (11:00 AM – 11:00 PM) No subspecialty backup onsite — providers must be comfortable managing patients independently and coordinating transfers when needed.
