Locum Tenens Physician Opportunity Near Judsonia, AR Profession: Physician Specialty: Traumatic Brain Injury/General Medicine Are you a dedicated physician looking for a flexible locum tenens opportunity? We have an exciting position available near Judsonia, AR, offering a blend of General Medicine and Traumatic Brain Injury exams on a PRN basis. Details: Rate Type: Daily Emergency/Temp Privileges: No Shift Type: Days Shift Description: PRN - as needed basis Shifts TBD Half day: 4 hours or less Full day: 4-8 hours Weekend Requirements: Able to work weekends, if desired/needed On-Call Requirements: N/A Responsibilities: Exams: Perform a combination of General Medicine and Traumatic Brain Injury exams Exams are primarily interview-based with some physical assessment Range of motion testing, muscle strength testing, and evaluating traumatic brain injury No prescribing or treatment involved Qualifications: Board Certification: Must be Board Certified in any of the following specialties: Neurology Neurosurgery PM&R (Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation) Experience: Familiarity with Musculoskeletal, Diabetes, and Cardio conditions required Proficient in METs testing, evaluating, and diagnosing respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions Equipment: Must own a personal laptop (NO Apple Laptops/MACs) Certification: DMA certification available (can get CME credits) - will need to obtain once privileged if not already certified Tools: Use of Goniometer required Training: Training provided for all Reporting/Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) Reporting/DBQs must be submitted within 48 hours upon exam completion - no narrative report required Evaluations to be completed in provider portal and records are reviewed Benefits: Flexible scheduling Opportunity to work weekends, if desired No on-call duties Gain valuable experience in both General Medicine and Traumatic Brain Injury assessments Obtain DMA certification and earn CME credits Additional Information: Providers Needed: 3 Job ID: j-149284 This is a fantastic opportunity for physicians seeking flexible work arrangements while making a significant impact on patient care.
