Location: North Little Rock, Arkansas


The Office Support Administrator provides general office support with a variety of clerical tasks; therefore, this is an entry-level position that requires basic knowledge but provides an opportunity to develop skills, over time, in a specific practice area. The Office Support Administrator applies specific knowledge and principles and practices at an entry level and uses standard techniques, procedures and criteria to perform tasks as part of a broader assignment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as back-up for front desk where you will greet incoming guest/vendors and answers phones during her lunch and breaks
  • Maintain tidiness of Print Rooms, Supply Room and Coffee Areas
  • Package pickup/delivery
  • Sort and distribute incoming mail, prepare outgoing mail and packages
  • Order, check in, and distribute general office supplies (coffee, vending, break room, restroom, mailroom, etc.)
  • General typing, copying, printing, binding
  • Scan/send documents to clients, sub-consultants, and other Garver offices
  • Scan documents to electronic files
  • Basic data entry in Vision (unit logs and expenses)
  • Assist in coordinating service of office vehicles as needed
  • Assist with travel arrangements
  • Coordinate meetings (meals, venue, AV, etc.)
  • Assist with agendas, meeting minutes and may attends meetings
  • Performs other clerical or administrative duties as needed
  • Pick up supplies and food for meetings when needed
  • Shipping of Promotional Items
  • Shipping for Conferences and Trade shows

Education/Professional Experience:

  • High School diploma
  • One year of related experience

Communication Skills:

  • Processes basic oral and written communication skills.
  • Interacts with staff, clients, sub-contractors and the public in general

Technical Skills:

  • Customer Service
  • Telephone Etiquette
  • Basic Office Equipment (phones, copier, scanner)
  • Typing, General Computer and Data Entry
  • Basic Outlook, Word, Excel
