us in the exciting opportunities ahead. Job Responsibilities &
Essential Functions: The principal duties are to perform all
required sales and estimating functions of Gulf Coast Pavers in a
timely and accurate manner. In order to perform these principal
duties, the following must be properly fulfilled: Receive and
organize paver and retaining wall bid requests from customers and
other leads. Manage, maintain and update the bidding schedule
Analyze project drawings, specifications, proposals and other
related documents to prepare time, cost and labor estimates.
Develop and nurture customer relationships to effectively
negotiate, follow up, and close sales. Maintain a high level of
customer service in all job duties Work with vendors to source and
negotiate pricing on materials and freight to build estimate.
Manage and assist with the preparation of RFI’s Complete paperwork
and provide all job data accurately and timely Performs quantity
take-offs to support project documents. Create and/or maintain a
unit pricing database for material and labor costing purposes.
Assemble pavers and retaining wall estimates and proposals.
Communicate with general contractors, architects, and consultants
to clarify scope of work, materials, and schedule requirements, and
documents these clarifications. Assists with final assembly of
estimate for presentation to General Contractor/Owner. During
bidding process, collect and organize all bid information for
future reference. Generate weekly and monthly sales and estimating
activity reports. Manage Air Table database Aid field operations
with change order pricing Remain current with latest estimating
technology and techniques Actively participate in the internal
estimate review process Participate in strategy sessions to
identify areas for increased profitability and efficiency General
Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in construction
management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related
field preferred. Experience: 5 years of experience in sales and
estimating required with experience in the Hardscape, Landscape or
Flooring Industry preferred. Skills & Abilities: Strong leadership
skills. In-depth knowledge of estimating techniques, project
management, and cost estimation. Excellent analytical and
problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven
decisions. Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office
Suite (Excel, Word, etc.); experience with project management and
CRM systems a plus. Strong negotiation, communication, and
interpersonal skills. Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple
projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines. Additional
Requirements: Ability to read and interpret construction drawings,
specifications, and blueprints. Strong organizational and
time-management skills. Valid driver’s license and ability to
travel as needed. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in the paver
or retaining wall industry is an asset. Bilingual abilities
(Spanish or other languages) are a plus but not required. Why Join
