Job Description Job Description Salary: $47,000/yr PinPoint Testing, LLC is a pioneer in the drug detection industry. Our business has three key areas of focus for both clinical and forensic laboratories: laboratory consulting, our ToxBox product line, and our renowned laboratory services. We are currently seeking a full-time Manufacturing Chemist for our ToxBox production lab. Job Description The Manufacturing Chemists primary responsibility is the production of ToxBox kits and related consumable products. Research and development of new products and manufacturing processes is a secondary responsibility. The Manufacturing Chemist will be trained in LC-MS/MS analysis, so lab experience and an understanding of fundamental chemistry is preferred. We are a small, highly efficient team, so strong communication between all employees is critical. Specific responsibilities may include but are not limited to: Preparation of various analytical testing products; Following detailed procedures for product production detailed in standard operating procedures (SOP); Critical review and proofing of SOPs; Use of basic chemistry equipment (micro-pipettes, volumetric glassware, pH meter, etc.); Use of automated liquid handling robots (Tecan EVO150 and EVO200); Creating and maintaining product documents and records, product descriptions and Certificates of Analysis; Creating technical reports including batch results, and measurement of uncertainty summaries; Maintaining equipment logs, batch records, quality records, and laboratory notebook; Performing technical laboratory functions in the operation, maintenance, and calibration of laboratory equipment; Performing inventory management responsibilities; Packaging and shipment of the completed product to the customer. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science, or medical technology from an accredited institution. Some laboratory training or experience, either in an academic or industrial setting. Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and basic data entry. Exceptional attention to detail. Ability to lift and carry boxes up to 50 lbs. US citizen or legal permanent resident. Ability to successfully complete any required background checks and or drug screening as required by the company.
