Location Type:Job DescriptionThe Senior Manufacturing Engineer will
be responsible for planning, organizing and controlling overall
Manufacturing programs. This role will perform a wide variety of
engineering and technical tasks involving the application of
engineering knowledge and focus on the development of robust
manufacturing processes with an emphasis on automation and
implementing engineering controls to ensure that product Critical
to Quality Characteristics are achieved.The Senior Manufacturing
Engineer will operate daily out of the Mountain Home, AR facility
and report to the Engineering Manager.Job
ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities for this position include, but are
not limited to, the following.Responsible for the Wire Braiding,
Spiral Winding, Rubber Tube Extrusion, Plastic Mandrel Extrusion
and Mandrel Inspection & PreparationProvide leadership and
commitment in supporting continuous improvements in safety quality,
delivery, and cost (productivity) performance through the
deployment of continuous improvement framework.Participate in and
support assigned Value Stream team as well as manages global plant
projects.Support and champion Environmental Health and Safety
projects to promote a Zero Incident Safety Culture.Identify and
resolve opportunities, gathers and analyzes information, develops
and implements action plans to improve efficiency and reduce
cost.Manage all assigned projects in support of division, plant,
and project objectives.Develop approaches to solving problems in
processes, tooling, equipment, facilities and cost.Develops plans,
details and implements the required industrialization methods,
tooling and equipment for the manufacturing operation.Develop
specifications, secures quotations, and provides justification for
expense and capital expenditures within planned budgets.Control
manufacturing processes, equipment and facilities to meet Federal
and State Regulations.Develop and implement cost reductions to meet
or exceed departmental and plant goals.Provide support to Quality
Programs to improve product, process and procedural

Technical Science degree from an accredited institution
requiredMinimum 3 year of experience in a manufacturing
environmentExperience with 2-D and 3-D Design (AutoCAD, Solidworks,
ProE or others)Experience managing a capital expenditure project;
develop of specifications, securing quotation, evaluation, and
selection of vendors; project planning, installation, and
commissioning of the equipmentExperience implementing Lean
Manufacturing principles to drive out cost and improve process
qualityPossess strong communication skills, verbal and
writtenKnowledge of SAP ERP preferredAbility to travel up to 10%
when necessaryPreferred QualificationsPossess a minimum 4 years of
experience in a manufacturing environmentSix Sigma Green Belt and /
Lean Champion CertificationExperience in processing equipment,
tooling, and fixturing designProficient in product
industrializationExperience with 2-D and 3-D Design (AutoCAD,
Solidworks, ProE or others)Ability to write specifications for PLC
and HMI applications; programming and interface experience a
plusExperience implementing Kanban, shop floor inventory
